Lukewarm is No Good: A Roald Dahl Quote

Roald Dahl was one of my favorite authors years ago. I’ve fallen in love with Matilda, laughed as I read The Twits, read about his life in The Boy and Going Solo, and, of course, loved all the inspiring things he says. Here’s a quote I love so much:

Passionate people have always attracted me. That teacher who puts all her energy into teaching, who never raises her voice, always smiles, and would repeat an idea a hundred times… That Taekwondo player who learned everything about the game, who is the only player better than the coach.. That classmate who memorized the Koran in a year, who you will always find reciting proverbs from it.. Those are the people with fire in their souls, they glow like stars, bright and beautiful.

Find your fire and embrace it because “When you do something from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.” -Rumi

Until next time, have a nice weekend! ✌🏿️🌸
