33 Things That Make Me Happy

“Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.” – Abraham Lincoln

I strongly believe that “happiness is a state of mind” and since we can create our state of mind, then we can create our happiness, by focusing on the good stuff. You do not need everything to be perfect in order to be happy. you just need to set your mind on thinking positive and on enjoying the moment.

“Happiness is not determined by what’s happening around you, but rather what’s happening inside you.” – Anonymous

  1. Great list! It’s good that you know what makes you happy, that’s important.
My husband is Dutch so we always had Stroopwafels too, I love it, especially when I put it on top of my tea and it gets soft & warm..Yummy!
    Have you tried Gevuldekoeken too?

  2. Where did you learn to eat stroopwafels? I think they are delicious too. Every Friday and Saturday there is a bakery on the market baking them then and there. So fresh and so difficult to walk by without buying any!
